Right and wrong.

Have you ever wondered when you have done something that you know in your heart is wrong, whether you should have done it at all in the first place?

The question that springs to my mind is , why do it in the first place?
Do we have any morals? If we do, where have they gone?

Why is it that we allow ourselves to do things that we know are wrong? Is it because of the gratification we get from it? Does that cheap thrill give us pleasure in the long run? Would we be happier with a guilty conscience?

Thats the thing though! we do things to put ourselves in a rut before we look at the consequences - look at it logically!
i will even provide an example for you,

You are a young adult, there is nothing you want more than to get that overdraft/ credit card, when asked how much you earn a year, you tell em £20k, they offer you an overdraft of 2000 and its all good.
thing is, you are only earning £13k a year, and then when you have spent your overdraft, you are stuck with a nice letter from debt companies ......

thats not looking at it logically!

something logical would be to maybe suffer some hardship for a little while and then get yourself in a position to have the finer things in life, so that little white lie to gain that lending from your bank, screws you up in the long run.....

People aren't moral these days, WE NEED MORALS!

This is my first post here. It's something that is close to my heart. So many people need to distinguish the difference between right and wrong. Please feel free to comment about this article.

True in some ways. What is right and what is wrong? Funny thing is, its man made, while we do have a conscience. We all know what is "right" and "wrong" due to what people thought as the law was passed at time.
Do they really have the right to say such things? In my opinion, no - right or wring depens on the moment and what you, and believe to be right in your heart.

An example of right and wrong:

Forcing someone to change their religion or lifestyle to suit yourself, then expressing if they don't they shall be made example of. (Wrong)

A minority fighting oppression, the repercussion is several deaths on both sides. (Right)

Personally, I have done things people would say is "wrong" that is there choice to think so, I do believe to know what is right and wrong its a down to each persons perception of the deed in question.

If you have to lie, it is most certainly wrong. If you have to question if it is right or wrong there is a strong chance it is wrong, your conscience may be talking to you. Listen!

    Welcome to Newsvine Steve-7!

Nice job on your first article...
